Bill Young Memorial Ride

– 2022 –

Bill Young was a founding member of FMCPT and actively involved in our community for many years. He helped clear brush, trees, and trash in preparations for building the Ohio to Erie Trail through Madison County. He was an active fundraiser and an avid cyclist. Bill also played and coached soccer for many years. He and his wife, Vickie, opened and operated “Young’s Cyclery of Central Ohio,” a bicycle shop in London, OH. They helped trail travelers and generously opened their doors to allow them to stay at their shop as they passed through London on their way across the country. They donated repaired bikes to needy children. Bill was an eternal comedian, and a great friend.
